Why We Started

Life can feel overwhelming, and for many in our community, mental health often remains an unspoken struggle. As a therapist, I’ve witnessed firsthand how anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship challenges quietly impact our well-being, yet conversations around them are still limited, especially within our cultural and faith contexts.

Sukoon with Sarah was created to bridge that gap. We wanted to build a safe, inclusive space where individuals can explore their mental and emotional health without judgment, while honoring the unique cultural and spiritual values of our community. “Sukoon,” meaning peace and tranquility, reflects our mission: to support people in finding calm, clarity, and resilience in the midst of life’s challenges.

Our goal is not just to provide therapy, but also to create awareness, reduce stigma, and empower individuals with tools to navigate life more confidently. Through guidance, education, and community support, we are here to remind you: you are not alone, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
